Eyelash Extensions Care Tips - Dealing with Water

Eyelash Extensions Care Tips - Dealing with Water

Although you can get your eyelashes wet with no problems at all, water can put pressures on the lashes and make them tangle or cross over. This makes them easier to come loose. You can take precautions to keep them beautiful after each time they get wet and therefore keep them long and beautiful longer.

When you go swimming, for example, be sure to take along your mascara brush so you can brush you eyelashes after getting out of the water. That way your lashes will dry perfectly instead of becoming tangled.

This is also a good thing to do when you get out of the shower. Simply dab your eyes dry with a soft towel and then brush them with your mascara brush.

Another Eyelash Extensions Benefit!

Recently I was fitted for a contact for mono vision. Naturally, my eye got teary. It was such a relief to be able to focus my mind solely on the contact and what the doctor was doing and saying without being concerned at all about black mascara streaks running down my face!

I thought to myself, “Here’s another benefit of eyelash extensions!” Now, I realize that worrying about smudged mascara is rather vain, and that a doctor’s office is not a place for vanity, but wait, there’s a practical side, too!

If you’ve ever had streaking mascara and irritated eyes. You know that the chemical components in mascara can sting. Well, no stinging with eyelash extensions! The tears stimulated by the contact fitting were pure and clean and actually felt comforting to my eye!

So there you have it – another benefit of eyelash extensions is that you can be free of chemically induced pain from tears polluted with mascara when you visit the eye doctor. And the added bonus is that you can still look beautiful as well!
