EYE LASH EXTENSIONS - fill-ins
I had eyelash extensions by Lori for the first time about a year ago. I loved them and was so excited by how natural they looked, how easy they made my makeup routine, and how beautiful I felt. I kept them filled in the first couple of times, then I started to slack off. I thought that maybe I didn't really need those regular fill-ins. Getting fill-ins was, after all, both time-consuming and expensive. I extended the time between fill-ins more and more each time until really, what I was getting was a new set every couple of months. Eventually I didn't even go back for a new set.
After several months without eyelash extensions however, and I was keenly aware of my short, sparsely spaced, graying lashes. I went back to using the eyelash curler and thick mascara. I wasn't satisfied, so I tried several different brands of mascara (all adding up to me spending a lot of money on makeup supplies). I still wasn't satisfied, so I finally called Lori of Lori's Lovely Lashes and scheduled to get a NEW SET.
Once again I am stepping confidently into my day each morning with fresh, beautiful eyes that are easy to care for and give me that sure-fire look of being well rested and well groomed. It seems like it is a small thing - in fact, the lashes ARE quite small - but really, the eyes are perhaps our most expressive features, so having them beautiful does in fact really matter.
OK - so I got a new set about 3 weeks ago and was so happy and excited. I remembered why I liked them in the first place. Then, after a couple of weeks, although I still felt that I had a good number of extensions left on my lashes, I scheduled a refill. I was again surprised by how nice I looked when I left Lori's place. Yes, I was OK without a refill, but I was FABULOUS with the refill! The point is to keep your extensions so that no one ever notices that your eyelashes are not totally natural! So by keeping up with fill-ins, the replacements are also as natural as the look of the extensions.
Once again I am sold on the importance of regular maintenance.

Eyelash Extensions - live demonstration
LORI'S LOVELY LASHES
Lori's Lovely Lashes had a booth at Mucie's Couture Bridal Show last weekend.
It was a great show with lots of exciting products and offers from the various vendors.
Lori's live demonstrations of eyelash extensions was a great way for people to see how it is done, what the process looks and feels like, and of course, to see the final product. It was better than any "before and after" pictures because the client's eyes changed right there as I was watching!
The process of getting eyelash extensions is really relaxing and enjoyable. It takes about one hour to get a new set, and around 30-45 minutes for refills, depending on how many new extensions you need.
Check out these pictures to see Lori in action!
